Single Collector Efficiency Equations. The reader is referred to other sources for details of these derivations (Reay and Ratcliff, 1973; Yu, 1989).

Equations (7-9) through (7-12) describe the individual collision efficiencies for Brownian diffusion (ηBD), interception (ηI), settling (ηS), and inertia (ηIN).
